Who would believe that during our lifetime we would ever experience anything like we are currently enduring. We have an uncertain time ahead of us and we need to try and remain calm and take each day as it comes. Throughout all of this, we must remain positive and continue as much as we possibly can for the sake of our children, families and our own wellbeing.
We are extremely fortunate that we have technology on our side which means that business can still continue for lots of us to enable us to support our families and put food on the table. We need to adapt and be innovative and most of all resilient.

This is why our on-line presence is more important than ever right now and we must also make a huge effort to stay in touch with our contacts, clients, suppliers and network using the on-line technology that we are lucky enough to have in place in the world.
There are many great tools out there which we can utilise; on-line networking, on-line adverts, social media posts & ads, email marketing, webinars, phone calls to current clients and people who we may have met at a networking event.
I know there are lots of you out there who work from home alone so it can be very isolating at times and also not good for your mind and body. Pick up the phone and speak with your clients and suppliers. Connect, collaborate and support each other through this difficult period. One small phone call really may make someone’s day and lift their spirits.I want to do as much as I possibly can to support local business owners through connecting people and enabling people to stay in touch in whatever way I can.

Sadly, I am having to cancel my ‘In the Hive’ networking meeting this month due to the government restrictions. However, the good news is, I will be organising a Zoom Call from 12 noon next Wednesday 25th March. You will have a chance to introduce your business and I will also have speakers who will be giving advice on what support is out there. I already have a list of my contacts who I would like to speak and offer their expert advice as this difficult time. Places are limited, so please pre-register and I will make a list of who is calling in.

My mission during the next few weeks/months will be to keep people connected, offer a support platform and generally support businesses any way I am able to. If you are interested in joining our on-line Zoom call next Wednesday at 12 noon please email me directly with your interest at deborah@queenbeeandco.co.uk
